        Antonio needs a new pair of shoes                                    Sometimes Bob's most important ministry is to make  people laugh

Proverbs 17:22  (KJV)

22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

I like to laugh, I like to make people laugh.  Some of the world’s poor that I  minister to have forgotten how to laugh.

They are spending most of their time trying to figure out how to feed themselves and their families, how to put clothes on their bodies, and how to keep a humble roof over their head.

Sometimes I make faces at people to cheer them, sometimes I make popping noises with my lips and through signs I challenge them to mimic me.  Sometimes I let the children push this old man in a hall fast on an office chair and act like I’m terrified.  (sometimes I am).

It’s easier to share the Good News of the Gospel after you tear down some walls and make people laugh.  Some may say that I’m making fool out of myself, if it touches just one, only one life for Jesus then it’s worth it al

What gifting has God given to you?  He has given each one of us certain gifts for His honor and glory, it’s our job to seek the Lord and discover the endless possibilities of opportunities for service for our Lord.

He has called us to be disciples and He has called us to make disciples, He wants us to be productive members of the his  family.

I make faces, make popping noises with my lips, and sometimes this old man takes rides in office chairs so people and children can laugh at the big fat white guy(as some people have called me in Haiti).  But the,  the  miracle happens,

I am privileged to share with them about a Savior that loves them and died for them that they might receive forgiveness of sins and have their name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.  This is really what it is all about.

By the way, Antonio needs a new pair of shoes, and we will work as hard as we can to get them for him.  You see, Antonio is a member of the family of God, and when someone is family you do all that you can to make sure that they have the things that they really need.
